Hi Poet! I'm excited to learn Well I've noticed you did cutting with some of your other students and I'm currently a student on your sister site Enchanted Studio . So this is the cut-out I did for her using the pen tool, img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/FuzzDoodle/cutting.png believe it or not it was my first time using the pen tool and the only mistakes I saw were the lower head (lip and cheek area) and the back leg (the all black one), maybe you can see more/something I didnt notice?
dont know if you wanted to see that or not but meh lol. Anywho I'd like to do mane/tail painting , or lighting, or something else that you come up with because I"m drawing a blank right now lol.
Eventually I'd really love help with backgrounds, I think I'm decent with the actual horse I just am rotten with making good backgrounds out of more than one stock photo/texturizing/colorizing/all those other little things I couldn't teach myself that make the picture look awesome.

That looks amazing for your first pen-tool cutting! I can't stress enough that cutting needs to be smooth, and you did it perfectly! Congrats! The only areas I saw that could be erased are the parts circled in red. (Keep in mind that I'm really just nitpicking here, though. You could get off with keeping those parts; it really wouldn't matter - you wouldn't be able to see it when you put the horse on it's final background.) But if you wanted an absolutely flawless finish, you could erase those. But like I said, I'm just nitpicking here xD ----------- Anyway, let's work on lighting first. Would you like to use that same horse, or a different one? It's completely up to you! Just let me know, and then we can start on lighting. Thanks! <3

Sorry for the late reply, I was busy with homework and junk for college, anyway I'd like to use the same horse if you don't mind. Unless the bridle will be a problem, I have a version where I took the bridle off already but the smudging on the face looked lame when it was like that so yeah lol. I dont mind if u want to use a diff horse but this one works too, just lemme know what I have to do with it ^^ here's the tackless image, minus the spots you pointed out ont he cutting example thanks for the nitpicking ^^
