Well, I stayed home from school today and I had this -cough- brilliant idea to attempt my first manipulation. I was pleased with the cutting on the horse, but that's where my positive feelings about this image end. I know the smudging is disgusting, especially on the leg, but I'm clueless on how to smudge. If anyone knows a good tutorial, please post it here ^.^ Also, I -attempted- a shadow but it ended up looking like a giant gray .. blob o.o
Please, be as harsh as you need to. I know it's terrible xD

Hey zy-zy! (that's what I'm gonna call ya)
The shadow looks nice, a little blobby like ya said, but it conveys a great deal more had there been NO shadow. Your smudging needs a little work darling...smudgy tut you can prob. find on dA.
The mane and tails needs LOTS of work..I really see no creative juices flowing through those prettyful black locks.
