I used to be on PB, but I moved to IF a year or two ago.
True, IF is very confusing at first, but I much prefer it to IF. It tends to load faster, there's more you can do with it, I find it to be more attractive (if done right, of course), not to mention it has doHTML in posts, which is just... amazing.
The main thing about IF is that it's more confusing if you're unfamiliar with HTML and CSS. However, there are a million premade skins you can choose from, and I find that the admin control panel is much easier to work with than Proboards, frankly. I can't make PB sites anymore after IF, haha. It's just so... inconvenient.
I think everyone would really like IF, you just have to be willing to be patient and learn it. But the benefits are great imo <3

My own site is IF. I used to think I liked PB better, but IF is much more..customizable? It's a bit more complicated but one you get the hang of it(or the free skin you got lol) it's pretty awesome. Not to mention, there are tons of AWESOME javascripts you can get to add neat features to your site.
