For Christmas I am looking to add a tablet to my list. I've done some looking around and I found one that I think I would like.
The Wacom Bamboo Touch & Pen (www.wacom.com/bamboo/bamboo_pen.php) is the one I have been looking at. This tablet only uses the pen since I figured that's all I would need.
Anyway, I use GIMP for picture making and I was wondering if anyone knew if this tablet worked with this program or not? It doesn't really mention which programs I can use this with and what would be the point of getting a tablet that doesn't work for my program?
If the tablet doesn't work with GIMP but with photoshop or another program would anyone know? I guess I can always switch programs or use two if I have to.
If I can use this with GIMP and I do get the tablet would anyone be willing to help me figure out how to set it up?
Thanks for anyone's answer(: -Kori

I have a Wacom Graphire4 tablet. It comes with a pen and a mouse, and from what I've seen of it so far, the pen acts as a mouse, but sits more naturally in your hand. Does that make sense to you? I think that it should work in GIMP just fine.

It makes much more sense then the big words some sites on google use xD The reason I was getting one is to improve the manes and tails in my horse manipulations so I figured I would ask around and see if it would work other wise there's no point in getting it
Thanks bunches! ¢¾

Yup, that's the tablet I'm getting for x-mas too! From what I've heard they'll work with any graphic programs. They're standard, I think.
