Q: What is Mayhem Studios?
A: Mayhem Studios is a forum for equine graphic designers. It has tutorials, a graphic academy, request board, etc.
Q: Can I join if I'm not an "equine" graphic designer?
A: Yes! We welcome all kinds of members. Please keep in mind, though, that most staff + registered members are equine-oriented. So, if you ask a question that does not have to do with horse art, you might not receive an answer.
Q: May I apply for a job as a graphic designer that takes requests?
A: Yes; to do this, you need to fill out the application form that is under the "Application Forms" board.. I will review it and decide whether or not you are fit to be a designer at Mayhem Studios.
Q: What is the "Academy" board for?
A: The Academy board is basically like a graphic designing school. There will be teachers, and students. Students will generally be given assignments to complete, and teachers will critique and give tips to the students. (For example, a student might be asked to paint a mane and tail, or smudge a horse, or blend backgrounds, etc. Then the teacher will critique it.)
Q: How do I become a teacher for the Academy board?
A: You need to fill out the teacher application form under the "Application Forms" board. This will be more vigorous than the "request" form, and I will judge more harshly.
Q: How do I become a student for the Academy board?
A: You need to fill out the student application form that is under the "Application Forms" board. Everyone who fills it out will be accepted as a student.
