Your Name: Incipher
Type of Request: Equine
Character's Name Delilah
Breed Shagya Arabian, Thoroughbred
Appearance she moves like a spider. her body is composed sleekly, sharp; her chiseled features are fine, delicate in appearance and to the touch. she is easily breakable and is constantly suffering from a pulled tendon or infection of some kind. her long, long spidery legs, however, are still so notable as they glide across the surface, and to see her lean muscles ripple like molten silver beneath the thin coat of her blemished flesh is such a desire. her tresses are dark – sable that is sliky to look upon, but coarse to the touch, and cascades in quaint spirals of obsidian flame to her shoulder. her tail drags the floor when it's not whipping behind her like a ribbon of a whisper in the pale moonlight. her eyes, though, are perhaps her most prominent attribute: the bejeweled crown in which they are set is a toned structure, concave and valiant, but the cold, cruel glare of her medusa irises – as blue as periwinkle, and so alluring – catch the faintest light and reflect the empty, harpy fire of her waning soul.
Personality delilah is, to be blunt, a contradicting persona. she is syrupy sweet, but her sweetness is laced in sarcasm and a high-pitched air of superiority. she's simply mean, if I have to be honest, but she's not the type of mean that wastes time talking about you behind your back – she's a cut-throat vixen who will stab you in the heart while you're facing her, and you know the attack is coming. so that, in a very … chivalrous-but-not-really kind of way makes her noble; and that sense of nobility is easily portrayed by a nature that is naturally reclusive and shrewd. she's not tolerant. she's generally not kind, even though she is polite and was raised with the manners of a queen. above all, delilah is a philosopher at heart, and questions everything – hence why she is so knowledgeable. her one weakness, however, is music; sing to her in that one tune that touches her soul, and you will have her heart in the palm of your hand.
Idea/Vision my darling delilah is a mistress of the woodland realm. think of her as an elf almost, with a bittersweet wickedness that's stoic and complex, except her regality is typical hidden in her preferred state of reclusion. so my idea is that she's bound in the midst of her throne-copse, secluded as always, and perhaps admiring/glaring at her reflection in a tranquil pond while shafts of moonlight trickle in through the shadowed treetops. (also, as a side note, i am a fan of ridiculously long hair - long AND curly/wavy hair to be exact.)
Mood/Theme arrogance, more than anything, is what i'm hoping to find conveyed through the composition of the piece. delilah is a long-legged arachnid that strides through the canopies of the night as if she is empress of the galaxy – her only melancholy is the absolute silence of being alone, because she loves the sound of music, and webbed in solitude there is not a note to be strung.
Possible Color Schemes darker tones; i like the conflicting stress of navy and indigos to lighter blues - the kind of tone you see in a wood at night, when the mist is just beginning to rise from the shadowed foliage, providing an atmosphere of gloom, mystery, and impending despair.

Other: as far as framing goes: i almost want it to be structured like you're something that is looking at [her], if you know what i mean. like you're an insect or God or something, and you're studying her; watching her watch herself, or whatever. and obviously feel free to use any other stock that you may find; those were some quick references, although I do like Itz and the notorious-stock horse as actual possibilities. The other one I only like because of the long legs. x) anyway, whoever decides to take this on: thank you SO much.
