You hold me without touch You keep me without chains I never wanted anything so much Than to drown in your love and not feel your rain
I live here on my knees As I try to make you see That your everything I think I need Here on the ground
Set me free leave me be I don't want to fall another moment into your Gravity
-lyrics from the song Gravity by Sara BareillesI really like this one. Originally I wanted a horse chained up, falling into a hole. But 1. the lyrics say "You keep me without chains" 2. that's just hard XD Anyway, it took me FOREVER to find a good background, but I finally found one I like. I think it turned out pretty good Let me know what you guys think! Attachments:

What a gorgeous manipulation! I see you are very creative with your ideas.. A few things i could mention are: *The lighting of the horse (to me) is a little off, it doesnt quite blend with the picture. And also the colour balance of the horse, sometimes I like to re-colour the horses as I like the pose and horse but not necessarily the colour...but again im not sure if you are familiar with this? *Also i think you should have a small build up of water on the horses front legs that are kneeling in the water and possibly the muzzle (i usually paint these things but there are some great water brushes on DA). *A little bit of shadowing around the water and horse would create the effect of the horse really being there too *Maybe a lovely flowing mane? (optional) I like to exaggerated these features but really its up to the manipulator I like the text placement and opacity of the text Overall its a wonderful idea/picture and i like the way you have expressed that. Do not take my words harshly as im sure you already may know but i like to clarify that i am happy to be able to help expand your skills in the future.

thank you Lady!
And yeah I know about the lighting. I messed with it for a long time...and finally just gave up, I fail with water pictures. I attempted water building up around the legs, but I understand how you can't tell considering they are retarded looking and hardly there. Well, at the moment I fail at painting manes and tails, so I am not about to attempt that just yet.
Anyway, thank you a lot for the critique I appreciate it!

Never say you 'fail' at something You just need the practice, theres many areas that i need to brush up on in my manipulations too I still find lighting quite hard to do also, sometimes it depends on the horse you use, but practice makes perfect Manes and tails can take a lonnnng time to perfect, and most the time the manipulator ends up making a few attempts to get it right.
